I love my husband. I could not have found a better man. I love his dedication to our family and his support to me. I love his ability to make me laugh and relax when I (frequently) take things too seriously. I love talking until late and waking up to notes on my phone in the morning. I love his care for me as I strive to be a better wife.
I love my kids. I love their silliness and their honesty. I love their hugs and kisses and songs and craft projects. I love their relationships with each other. I love hearing them giggle together as siblings should. I love their understanding and patience as I learn how to be a better mom.
I love my parents. I love the appreciation gained when I became a parent and realized the sacrifice and love that I never understood before. I love the support waiting in the wings when I need it. I love the second set of parents I gained when I got married. I love the lessons learned as I try to be a better daughter.
I love my brothers. I love our regular phone calls and inside jokes. I love the in-laws that have come into my life- two more brothers and two sisters. I love the friendship I find as I make an effort to be a better sister.
I love friends. I love long conversations and thoughtful gestures. I love the laughs and the tips and the company. I love feeling recharged after a night out, but also understanding when we just need to be home. I love extending myself to be a better friend.
I love people. I love seeing people grow and change and improve. I love finding the good in everyone, even if it takes a while to uncover. I'm not your girl for fantastic craft projects or inspiring photography or a myriad of other talents found online, but I love relating to others and being inspired. I love the beauty in the struggle to be better.
